I finally decided to take the plunge and get an education, 30+ yrs old,,, yeah they say that age doesn't matter, kinda sucks when you are in class with a 15 year old running start student who seems to know more than you do cause they can work that T-90 something calculator,, what is up with those things anyway, pay 100 bucks for one, cant figure out how to use it all quarter then have to dump it after my final next to the ever piling heap of past papers and costly new edition text books that I just had to have , because my instructor ,(professor? Is that what they are in community colleges?) insisted I needed cause they moved a page or two around since their last edition, I wonder why they can not just leave those pages be, its unlikely that I will use or understand the extra page of horse manure that they are going to add, unless its a ' T-90 how to for dummies'.
Anyways, where was I , Oh yes, back to school, on fire, determined not to let my brain shrivel away doing the thankless job that currently puts food on my table. So I have been taking all sorts of classes for the last year or so, ranging from biology to history of jazz(really?) that should come in handy when I hit the job market. I am finally graduating in a couple of days so I figure, I have taken enough English classes and written countless essays to qualify as a blogger.By the way I have an exam or two in the next two days, I probably should be doing some last minute memorizing, but what the heck, Ill have forgotten everything by tomorrow. Sometimes procrastination is a survival tool not a crutch. So might as well let strangers into my life. Hopefully we can all be friends and laugh at my pain.
On a less serious note, I do have a noble cause. I am willing to put myseelf out there as a guinea pig for those who are trying to balance this life thing , work, school, relationships. I had a girlfriend when i woke up this morning, but she is mad that I chose my exams over spending the day at the beach with her.. Yes people do break up over such issues in Washington state , seeing that the suns is only out for 3 days in the year. So long story short ,, I am here for students like me ,, who need to know that they are not going through this alone!! Time for bed! this bills will not pay themselves,Ill be back ! I hope.Do forgive my ramblings night :)
